Estella was easier to design for me, an image of beauty
mixed with the results of domestic abuse was the obvious choice in designing
Estella as I didn't just want to do an average beauty make up, I wanted there
to be a focal point. I enjoyed the challenge of creating a hair look, I find
challenging to myself due to my lack of skill in that department and I am really
pleased with the outcome.
I also think my makeup
design and practice look great but I would definitely re think how dark I would
do the bruises on the eye and neck, because I do practices at home without a
professional camera it’s hard to see how it would turn up with studio lighting
so I now know I need to either do test shots OR do dramatic make up darker.
Overall I am very happy with the final outcome!
